Energy Efficiency Assessor Mentoring Services
Whether it’s personalised technical skills development coaching, advice on modelling a complex project, coaching through a whole project assessment, or a revision of an assessment file prior to submission via the portal, DMN approved Mentors are able to help you.
Design Matters National (DMN) have a select pool of appropriately qualified and experienced mentors to support Energy Efficiency Assessors (EEAs) in their professional practice.
Design Matters National Approved Mentors
The DMN Mentors listed below have been appointed via a NatHERS approved evaluation process which includes:
- Quality Assurance assessment
- Appropriately qualified, skilled and extensively experienced in the relevant software
- In depth technical skills and knowledge of NatHERS Technical note, handbook, and relevant building codes across all jurisdictions
- Are personable, relatable and skilled teachers and communicators
- Appropriately insured
- Agreement with the DMN Assessor Code of Conduct
- Agreement with confidentiality and do not disclose declaration
Mentor Engagement Arrangements
- Mentoring arrangements are made directly between the Mentor and EEA
- Fee and scheduling arrangements are negotiated directly between the Mentor and EEA
- Upon satisfactory mentoring outcomes, Mentors may choose to award NatHERS Technical CPD points for the Mentee
- Maximum of 4 NatHERS Technical CPD points may be awarded for Mentoring annually
- Design Matters are not party to the above arrangements
Note: Mentors typically operate busy private practice, however are committed to providing their services in the timeliest manner possible. Please be reasonable with your expectations on their time.

He contributes to the development of the industry as a Design Matters National (DMN) Technical Assessor Support Community (TASC) and NatHERS Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) member.
